E*Waste is a growing issue, and residents should be aware of the impact electronic products have on our environment. For example, Cathode Ray Tubes (CRTs) contain lead, are found in TVs and monitors, and are prohibited from normal trash collection.
The Recycling Committee sponsors events throughout the year, including the biannual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day. For more information regarding HHWD, please click on the link in the lower left hand corner (HHWD) or click here: http://www.braintreerecycling.org/hhwd.html.
